Doni uses color and detail to make her paintings "Up close and Personal"
Painting in both Oil and Acrylic, Doni continues to passionately explore on canvas.

Some of Doni's earliest memories are of her introduction to art at the age of 3, and subsequent nurturing of her inherent talent by her loving grandmother, and noted Detroit artist, Agnes Sequin Cameron. That began a life-long journey of artist learning and expression. Doni received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art from Michigan State University, and has completed various post-graduate courses in art. She participated in an art study tour to London, Moscow, and St. Petersburg.

After teaching art for a time, other life priorities caused a detour in her career as family responsibilities left little time to pursue her art. But, over the intervening years, her passion for art continued and with a renewed commitment to artistic expression, myriad life experiences from which to draw upon, and time to devote to perfecting her techniques, Doni has re-emerged as one of the premier artists of the area.
